H.Y.P.E.’s Anger Management course aims to give students insight into the foundation and controlling of anger. It explores how this emotion, which is usually considered negative, can be helpful and turned into assertiveness, problem-solving, conflict resolution and forgiveness. Our interactive 2-day class features anger surveys, identifies triggers and provides empathy training. We show students that anger is a “normal” human emotion that everyone experiences from time to time and the way that we handle anger will affect our relationships and decision making.
